The home is not only light and airy, but designed for care. It has so many features, both seen and unseen, from the outside space and balconies to the lighting, furniture design, the absence of trip hazards, to the sauna and gym for maintaining fitness. The underfloor heating and communal air conditioning keeps the home at comfortable temperatures, as well as the fires in the sitting rooms giving the home that cosy feel.
There is more communal space from lounges, dining rooms, garden rooms, the gym and other feature rooms, than most other homes you will have seen. The home is light and airy and all the corridors are wide and there are numerous seating areas, so your loved one can just relax wherever they are.
There is significant outside space from the large terrace with a restaurant and bar surrounding, and several balconies on the other floors. There are great views across the docks and Thames estuary from the home. Alternatively, you can walk out by the water, or pop to the shops or the pub next door, which keeps your loved one in contact with everyday life.
What makes the difference between a building and a home is….the people looking after your loved ones, having dedicated their careers to looking after others. This may be as Carers, care management, chefs, housekeepers, activities or maintenance….but each one of them makes the home …a home.
We train the Team well and give them the tools required to look after your loved one.
Our fees are competitive and are on an all-inclusive basis, which means that our Team concentrate on your loved one, not charging for the extras, so when you come in, you can have a cup of tea or meal with your loved one, just like you would if you walked into your mum’s home.
And your loved one does not pay for items like drinks or hairdressing, activities or trips that you would be charged for in many other homes.
We focus on the care and ensuring that your loved one treats the home as their home…we are just there to help them.
